Shoppers looking to get Christmas all wrapped up and simultaneously raising money for a worthy cause are being invited to visit Cancer Research Wales’ gift wrapping service.
The charity will be hosting their annual wrapping service in the run up to the big day at Cwmbran Shopping Centre, with a little help from Newport Gwent Dragons.
In return for a donation, the charity’s volunteers and rugby players will swiftly and stylishly wrap shopper’s gifts on-the-spot; leaving you with one less thing to worry about over the festive period. The celebrity wrappers, in the spirit of Christmas, will be dressed in full festive attire of Christmas jumpers, hats and antlers.
Rachel Marsh, Fundraiser at Cancer Research Wales said: “We are very excited about our annual wrapping event this year. It is such a fun and festive activity for supporters in the run up to Christmas and we can’t wait to welcome the Newport Gwent Dragons who will be helping the charity by wrapping gifts and raising vital funds for cancer research in Wales.”
All money raised from the Christmas gift wrap will go directly into funding some of the world’s leading cancer research in Wales. Cancer Research Wales is making vital developments into early diagnosis, treatment and cure.
The service will be situated opposite Costa coffee shop within the Cwmbran Shopping Centre.
